So basicly shared pain never worked as intended and got disable in order to fix it.

Note that it happened many years ago and since it never got taken care of, eventually got forgotten.Today here am I as a reminder.

Now, what should happen to this spell?

Incase it get a re-work then we need ideas, no hesitate to post yours. ;)

Here goes mine:

· I dont think it would work the main idea of the spell so a new spell should be created to replace it.

My spell would be called "Endurance" and it wouldnt need a supporter to be casted. You gain a %X of magic damage resistance but you get slower for 4 seconds, the spells' duration would depend on level and magic level. But it could last around 3 minutes with 210 seconds cooldown. Mana usage 250.

Feedbacks and staffs' thoughts are very much appreciated. :)

Agreed.

It's been so long and the spell has been ignored for so long and done nothing about it even tho so many people complained about it, now it's time to fix it.

So many nice new updates has been done but the old bugs and flaws has been forgotten, there should be at least some work done about it next to the new content.

At least remove the spell and give paladins new spell which is simple to do since shared pain is so hard to fix, i'm surprised that other paladins havent been so needy for a fix or a change of a spell they never could even use.

Hey kurt... I wonder how it works... I have never tested it before.

But reading about... Maybe shared pain could avoid ALL damage on the target to be absorbed just by the two paladins (or the party). And it could last longer.

What you think?

Endurance is a nice option also. But I really can't say, never used shared pain.

Well if you want change spell for paladins you should also consider spells for other vocations - eq:barbarians. Since i can remember i remember spell called "Increased Yield" is bugged for a long time same to Shared pain. The bug shows a uncorrect values of mana usage while you using a spells. It says 25% of used spells should be reduced for that amount, but THAT IS INCORRECT.The next bug is a duration. In description of this spell present a 3minutes cooldown but when you use this ability with your "marksman" it shows 120 seconds.Nice math KZ

Basically i would like to scale this spell with level and magic level - should work like a bravery.

This is not my first post about this bug.I sent several emails about this but of course zero respond.
Damm you.

Shared Pain is a combined ability of two paladins, allowing them, after one paladin supported the second, to enchant the target with a buff that distributes parts of his recieved damaged over all of his party members for a certain amount of time.
Amount of the duration depend on the 2 casters levels and magic levels. It has a cooldown of 10 minutes.

There is a spell called Stone skin that make all party members invulnerable for 7 seconds. The paladin support the shaman.

I was thinking about upgrading shared pain. But I got your point, all these spells are very similar.
Better create a new spell.

What about deflect magic?

You cast a spell, then in 3 (or 2) seconds, you will reflect your oponent spell damage back to him (Just Magic Attacks). Cooldown 40 sec.

It's an offensive and defensive spell at the same time. Demands luck and skill.
