Only reason to play a mage on PvE server is you enjoy the gameplay. To some people warrior is too boring to play despite the ridiculous advantages they have ;) Warrior is easier to hunt with, can hunt more monsters, makes more money, etc.

Mage may be able to make more exp per hour than warrior sometimes.... but its A LOT more work to hunt so you will likely get tired while warrior is still watching TV and hitting F1

Love the mage gameplay, go PvP server, or make a warrior.


If you play mage just hunt when you have time. Don't need to mana sit or waste mana casting spells in town. Your ML will go up nicely while hunting and as others said, level is a big part of your damage. You could also go to bosses with some warrior and burn manas that way.
